Olympus DSS Player Pro 5000 Transcription Software

Overview
DSS Player Pro 5000 Transcription software is intended for PC & MAC use only. The DSS Player Pro Transcription software incorporates features that are designed to simplify the transcription process. The transcription software module in particular helps streamline every aspect of the process. For example, in and out trays facilitate document management while job status information (finished, pending, cancel job) gives you an immediate overview. The automation of work processes such as the receipt and redirection of dictations to corresponding in-trays via FTP, POP3, STMP or network is also possible. Designed for use with DS-5000.

Features

• Ability to download files from an attached DS digital voice recorder. Supports up to five download folders.
• Automatically receives dictation files and sends transcribed document files by E-mail or FTP.
• Provides a visual or audible announcement every time a new dictation file arrives.
• Automatically starts word processing program when transcribing a dictation file.
• Plays DSS, DSS Pro (DS2), WMA, MP3 and WAV/AIFF audio formats in the background when another application is running, such as a word processor.
• Ability to adjust playback speed of audio file.
• Supports playback channel selection for WMA Stereo files.
• Supports encryption and decryption of dictation files and document files sent over the Internet.
• Sorts received dictation files by sender based on profile rules.
• Manages and automatically associates the transcribed document files with the dictation files.
• Ability to track typing status by marking files Pending, Unfinished, and Finished to track its status.
• Ability to organize files in folders such as Typist Tray that holds files that have not been finished and a Finished tray for jobs completed.
• Ability to arrange files by completed date.
• Designed for use with all Olympus professional voice recorders.
• Integrates with voice recognition software.
