With TeleWave and VoiceWave it is now possible to use a standard touch-tone phone from anywhere in the world to record your dictation and have it immediately assigned to your transcriber.

How does it work? TeleWave automatically transfers your dictation file to an Internet FTP-site. Then, a transcriber with VoiceWave can download the dictation from the Internet and transcribe it. Imagine, you could give a dictation at your favorite golf course in Florida and within seconds it will be transferred to your transcriber in New York!

Of course, TeleWave also supports local area networks such as Novell and Windows NT Server. The dictation will be copied to the transcribers in-basket on your local file server.

TeleWave has a quick, simple, and familiar menu - no lengthy prompts to frustrate the dictator.

Some of TeleWave's features include:

 Sound Insertion. You can record dictation, rewind, and insert any dictation you want to include. With sound insertion, you can "paste" in dictation.

 Work Type. Specify the work type of the dictation.

 Patient ID. Specify the  patient ID.

 Custom Options. Customize TeleWave with options specific to your organization.

 Confirmation Number. TeleWave will assign a unique number for the dictation which is read back to the dictator for tracking purposes.

Have you ever wanted a hand held digital dictation device that is integrated with a dictation/transcription system. OPUS is our dictation for Windows Pocket PC or Smartphone.
 

OPUS --- Dictation does not get simpler than this!
 
Record your dictations using OPUS; pop the Pocket PC or Smartphone into the cradle and the dictation will automatically be copied to your transcriber’s in-basket. You may also send the dictation wirelessly directly from the Pocket PC or Smartphone.

OPUS can record over 3 hours of compressed audio on a standard 32MB PDA.  If that's not enough then you can record over 15 hours with a 64 MB expansion memory card.

  The following information is stored in each sound file:

• Name of the dictation author.
• Date and time of the dictation.
• Priority.
• Any notes that you would like the transcriber to read.
• If a medical dictation, then a work type and patient ID are also stored in the sound file.

OPUS has the following features:

• 10 to 1 audio compression allows you to store 10 times more audio than with a standard recorder.
• Support for storage cards allows you to expand the audio storage and safeguard your recordings from battery rundown.
• You may overwrite or insert audio for easy audio editing.
• Use the hard buttons on the PocketPC to record, play, stop, fast forward, rewind - just like a standard handheld recorder.

OPUS supports Microsoft’s Windows Mobile® operating system for both Pocket PC PDA's and for Windows Mobile Smartphone devices.

OPUS  produces open standard file formats which can be used on many other platforms and devices (.wav format).  When uploaded the OPUS files are compressed to a file format that is fully compatible will all members of our family of products.

Another great advantage, is the ability to perform all other PDA software while recording with OPUS.  While OPUS is recording you may bring up any of your other PocketPC applications,  for  example, to browse patient records or other notes.
